1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By using Goodles.co.za, whether as a vendor or customer, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

By signing up for a free or paid vendor plan, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms in full.

2. ABOUT GOODLES

Goodles is a South Africa-based multivendor platform created to help new entrepreneurs, creators, and small business owners sell products online—without the high cost of building their own e-commerce website.

We offer a user-friendly vendor shop system, so you can launch your business without worrying about hosting or web design. You are responsible for your own shop content, marketing, sales performance, and product fulfilment.

We do not guarantee traffic, visibility, or sales. Vendors must do their own SEO, product optimization, and promotion (e.g., social media or paid ads).

3. ELIGIBILITY TO SELL

To become a vendor on Goodles, you must:

Be 18 years or older
Have the legal right to sell the products you upload
Agree to handle your own customer service, fulfilment, and marketing
Not sell illegal, plagiarized, or harmful content
Not upload, sell, or promote any explicit, pornographic, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content

Goodles.co.za is a family-friendly platform. All shops and listings must be suitable for all audiences, including children. Vendors who violate this rule may have their listings removed or accounts permanently banned without warning.

We reserve the right to approve or reject any vendor application or remove a vendor account that violates these terms.

4. VENDOR PLANS & FEES

Free Plan

No monthly fee
10% commission per sale
3.5% setup transactional fee per sale
R5 fee per payout

Pro Plan

R195 per month (non-refundable)
0% commission per sale
3.5% setup transactional fee per sale
R5 fee per payout

Note:
All vendors are responsible for their own:

Transactional fees (e.g., PayFast fees)
Shipping costs (for physical products)
Any additional costs associated with product delivery or refunds

If total fees exceed the standard 3.5%, you must adjust your product pricing to absorb the difference.

We may change pricing or commissions with 30 days’ notice.

5. PAYOUTS

Payouts will be processed via PayFast (or another supported method).
A R5 handling fee is charged per payout.
It is your responsibility to ensure your payment and banking information is correct and up to date.

6. VENDOR RESPONSIBILITIES

As a vendor, you are responsible for:

Uploading and managing your own products
Responding to customers and managing refunds or disputes
Optimizing your listings with accurate titles, descriptions, and images
Promoting your store and products (via social media, SEO, etc.)

Goodles will not provide support with sales performance, SEO, ads, or content marketing. However, if you require custom branding or design support, contact us at info@goodles.co.za and we will quote accordingly.

7. BUYER TERMS

Buyers agree to:

Use purchased products according to the license or product description
Contact the vendor directly for any product issues
Understand that Goodles is not liable for delivery, refunds, or product quality—it is the vendor’s responsibility

All sales are final unless a vendor states otherwise in their product description or shop policy.

8. PLATFORM RIGHTS

Goodles.co.za reserves the right to:

Remove any product or vendor that violates our terms
Terminate or suspend accounts without notice for harmful, misleading, or fraudulent activity
Promote vendor products across the platform or in marketing materials (with credit)

We do not own your content but reserve the right to display and market your listings as part of the platform.

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Vendors must only upload original content or products they have rights to sell.
Buyers do not acquire copyright ownership of digital products; only usage rights as defined by the vendor.

10. PROHIBITED USES

You may not use Goodles.co.za to:

Sell illegal, harmful, or plagiarized content
Commit fraud or impersonate others
Spam customers or other vendors
Interfere with the operation of the platform

Violations may result in account termination and legal consequences.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Goodles is not liable for:

Lost sales or income
Technical errors or platform downtime
Disputes between buyers and sellers
Misuse of digital products after purchase
Vendor losses due to third-party payment processors

You use this platform at your own risk. We do our best to maintain uptime and fairness, but cannot guarantee performance or results.

12. CHANGES TO TERMS

These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time. We will notify users via email or in-platform notices. Continued use of the platform constitutes agreement to the updated terms.

VENDOR TERMS

1. VENDOR ACCOUNT

By registering as a vendor, you confirm that:

You are 18+ years old
All information you provide is accurate and up to date
You are the legal owner or have rights to sell all listed products
You accept full responsibility for your shop, listings, and customer service

We reserve the right to approve, suspend, or terminate vendor accounts at our discretion.

2. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As a vendor, you agree to:

Upload only your own or licensed products
Provide accurate product descriptions and images
Fulfill orders promptly
Handle all customer communications, disputes, and refunds
Optimize your product listings for SEO and sales
Promote your shop via your own social media and marketing efforts

We do not guarantee traffic, visibility, or sales.

3. FEES & COMMISSIONS

Free Plan: 10% commission per sale
Pro Plan: R195/month with no commission
All sales include a 3.5% setup transactional fee
R5 payout fee is charged for every payout
PayFast and other gateway fees are the vendor’s responsibility

You must factor all costs into your product pricing.

4. PAYMENTS & PAYOUTS

Payouts are processed via PayFast (or another supported method)
Ensure your payment details are correct
R5 is deducted per payout
Processing time depends on your payout method

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

You may only upload and sell content you own or have legal rights to distribute.
We reserve the right to remove listings reported for copyright infringement.

6. TERMINATION

Accounts may be suspended or removed for:

Violating our terms
Uploading stolen or illegal content
Misleading customers
Ignoring refund or service responsibilities

REFUNDS & RETURNS POLICY

1. OUR ROLE

Goodles is a marketplace platform, not the seller. Refunds and returns are handled directly by the vendor unless stated otherwise.

2. DIGITAL PRODUCTS

Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final unless:

The file is corrupt or unusable
The wrong product was delivered
A refund policy is stated on the vendor’s product page

In such cases, buyers must contact the vendor directly.

3. PHYSICAL PRODUCTS (IF APPLICABLE)

Vendors selling physical products must clearly state:

Their return window
Refund conditions (e.g. unopened, undamaged)
Shipping return policies

Buyers are responsible for return shipping unless otherwise stated.

4. DISPUTES

We recommend resolving issues directly with the vendor. If no response is received within 7 business days, you may contact support@goodles.co.za for assistance. However, we do not guarantee refunds.
